Join us Sunday mornings, where all youth, 4 years of age through 6th grade are welcome to participate. We meet from 8:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. every Sunday morning (except Easter and other special occasions). During Sunday School, songs are sung, games are played, crafts are made, and Bible lessons are taught. Currently, we are using the curriculum Seasons of the Spirit, an ecumenical resource supported by the U.C.C. Our classes run from September to May.
Joyfully we sing
The junior choir consists of all Sunday school students. During the program year (September to May), the junior choir sings approximately 5 times in worship and sometimes instruments are played to enhance the worship experience.
An Easter Celebration
On Palm Sunday preparations are made for Easter. Everyone gets to make a craft or Easter basket for our congregation’s shut-ins. Then we have an egg hunt along with food and fellowship.
Christmas Program
This involves all Sunday school students plus our 7th and 8th graders. We practice on Saturdays. Everyone has a part to memorize and the program is presented an evening before Christmas.
Summer Fun
Early August we gather for Vacation Bible School. This usually runs Sunday through Thursday evenings with a program in Church the following Sunday. Fun things are explored through the use of games, lessons, crafts and food.
