The people of Bethel U.C.C. are “small town” folks who have mostly grown up in the area.  They may not have seen many places, but they have big hearts and are open to sharing their faith with you.  We are a small church doing big things.  Recently, we have built an addition to our church building which includes a fellowship hall and office space.  We have also purchased stained glass windows with donations from members of Bethel U.C.C.  Each year we hold a Chili Supper and raffle.  We have started adult Bible studies, movie nights, and have sent 4 people to Lay Academy.  We have strong leadership and continue to grow each week.

We have a strong foundation in Christian beliefs.  We change gradually when change is needed.  We change with the times so youth will stay with us, but we don’t let the times change us so the elderly will stay with us.  Because we are a family, we know each other and genuinely care for one another.

We are becoming more community-based which means we look for the needs of others and try to attend to them.  We are constantly looking for ways to reach out to others which includes making a connection with Lakeland College and other service agencies.

We have many talents and people volunteer those talents and time to make our church a “living” church.  People serve on the consistory, teams, share their musical talents, their teaching talents, and care for one another.  We aim to serve God, share our faith with others, and love one another.
